We will discuss your hair goals, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences while examining your scalp and hair density to determine if microlocs/sisterlocks are the right fit for you. During this appointment, we’ll review sizing parting options, time frame, pricing, and what to expect before and after installation. Please arrive with clean product free detangled hair. A small test grid may be installed to assess sizing and technique, the consultation fee is nonrefundable, but will be applied towards your establishment if booked within 30 days. •If you would like a wash before your consultation, please add it as an additional service when booking. There will not be time to include a shampoo during this appointment.

Transfer Client Consultation

This consultation is required for clients whose microlocs/sisterlocks were established by another loctician or have not been maintained by Selph Love Loxx within the last 3 months. During this visit, we will assess the current condition of your locs, scalp health, grid pattern, sizing, and overall maintenance needs. This helps determine whether your microlocs/sisterlocks can be serviced, if any repairs or adjustments are needed, and what pricing or timing your future retightenings may require. Please arrive with clean, completely dry, and unstyled hair for an accurate assessment. Consultation fees are non-refundable and do not go toward future services. •If you would like a wash before your consultation, please add it as an additional service when booking. 4-6 Weeks Retighting

$100.00 deposit required

4–6 Week Retightening This maintenance appointment is for clients returning within 4–6 weeks of their last retightening. Regular retightening helps maintain a consistent grid, reduce slippage, and support healthy loc development. During this session, your new growth will be retightened from scalp to locked ends to maintain the integrity of your pattern and promote long-term loc health. Please arrive with clean, dry, and product-free hair. •Includes Shampoo

7-9 weeks Retighting

$100.00 deposit required

This service is for clients returning 7–9 weeks after their last retightening. Extra time between maintenance may cause more new growth, minor grid shifting, or light slippage — requiring additional care and time to restore precision. During this appointment, your locs will be retightened from root to base to maintain a clean grid, healthy tension, and a uniform pattern throughout your crown. Please arrive with clean, dry, and product-free hair. If you’d like a wash before your service, please add it as an additional service when booking, as shampooing is not included with retightenings. Service time and pricing may vary based on loc density and the condition of your grid.

10+ weeks overdue maintenance

$100.00 deposit required

This service is for clients who are 10 weeks or more past their last retightening. Extended time between maintenance often results in excessive new growth, grid shifting, slippage, or loc merging, which requires additional time and detailed reconstruction to restore the integrity of your loc pattern. During this session, your locs will be carefully separated, retightened, and restructured to realign your grid and promote healthy, balanced growth. Service time and pricing will vary based on hair condition, density, and the amount of new growth.

Solarlocs Extension Consultation

$50.00 deposit required

This consultation is required for clients interested in SolarLocs Extensions a premium, natural looking loc extension method designed to add instant length, fullness, and confidence. During this appointment, we’ll assess your scalp health, hair density, and texture to determine the best size, length, and color match for your desired look. We’ll also discuss pricing, installation time, maintenance schedule, and proper home care to ensure your extensions blend seamlessly and last beautifully. Please arrive with clean, dry, and product-free hair for an accurate evaluation. If you’d like a wash before your consultation, please add it as an additional service when booking, as shampooing is not included with consultations. This maintenance service is for clients returning 4–6 weeks after their SolarLocs installation or previous retightening. Regular upkeep helps maintain a consistent grid, prevent slippage, and keep your extensions looking fresh, secure, and natural. During this session, your new growth will be retightened and any minor slippage near the base will be corrected to preserve the integrity and longevity of your SolarLocs.

7-9 weeks Solarlocs Retightings

$100.00 deposit required

This service is for clients returning 6–8 weeks after their last SolarLocs maintenance. Extra time between retightenings may cause additional new growth and minor slippage, requiring a little more detail and care to restore your grid. During this session, your new growth will be tightened, your base secured, and your locs refreshed to maintain a polished and seamless look. Service time and pricing may vary based on new growth and loc condition.

Solarlocs Repairs

$50.00 deposit required

This service is for clients who need repairs or maintenance on existing SolarLocs extensions. Over time, normal wear, tension, or styling can cause slippage, thinning, or separation near the base and this session is designed to restore your extensions to a secure, healthy, and seamless look. During this appointment, each loc will be carefully assessed, reinforced, or replaced as needed to maintain your length, volume, and natural appearance. Repair time and pricing vary depending on the number of locs and the extent of restoration required.
